The Musician
Alongside his work as a composer, Manfred Plessl also performs as a musician.
As an electronic artist and violinist he explores the intersection of contemporary classical music, electronic sound and cinematic atmosphere in selected performances and collaborations.

Manfred is a multi-instrumentalist performing on violin, viola, mandolin, piano and synthesizers. His live work ranges from solo electronic performances to ensemble collaborations that blend folk, classical and experimental traditions.

Die Unvollendeten (2002–present)

As violist of the Acies Quartett, Manfred performed internationally and recorded multiple albums on Gramola. The ensemble received Austria’s highest chamber music prizes and was selected for NASOM – The New Austrian Sound of Music.

Arrangements & Music Production
For artists, bands, and productions seeking a distinctive sonic identity, Manfred creates bespoke arrangements across a wide musical spectrum — from refined string writing to full orchestral scoring and contemporary electronic production.
His work ranges from intimate acoustic settings and detailed string arrangements (violin, viola, ensemble) to hybrid scores that merge orchestra with electronics, sound design, and modern production techniques. Whether enhancing a song, shaping a cinematic narrative, or building a track from the ground up, each arrangement is crafted to elevate structure, emotion, and impact.
With a foundation in classical training and extensive studio experience, Manfred delivers arrangements that are both musically sophisticated and production-ready — always serving the artistic vision while adding depth, character, and a unique sonic signature.
